Assistant Principal

Mrs. Daily

Hello, Tappahannock Elementary School community!

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as your new Assistant Principal. Many of you may recognize me as your former 3rd-grade special education teacher, and I am thrilled to continue my journey with all of you in this new role. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of working closely with the students, staff, and families of this wonderful school, and I am honored to now serve in a leadership capacity.

Education has always been my passion, and I firmly believe that every child deserves a quality education and the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. As a former special education teacher in both 3rd and 4th grade, I have developed a deep appreciation for individualized instruction and fostering inclusive learning environments. I am committed to supporting our diverse student body, empowering teachers, and promoting academic excellence in all content areas.

During my time as a special education teacher, I discovered a particular love for reading and math. I am excited to bring this passion to my new role as Assistant Principal, where I can help shape curriculum and instructional practices to enhance student achievement in these critical subjects. I firmly believe in the power of a well-rounded education and will strive to foster a love for learning in every student, regardless of their individual strengths or challenges.

On a personal note, I am originally from Winchester, Virginia, and attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology. I later pursued my master's degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, further fueling my desire to make a positive impact on the educational landscape. When I am not at school, I cherish spending time with my loved ones. Whether it's relaxing at the beach, diving into a captivating book, or engaging in sports like softball, I believe in the importance of finding joy and balance in life. One of my favorite pastimes is playing golf with my husband, Tripp, as it allows us to enjoy the outdoors and engage in friendly competition.

As your Assistant Principal, I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive school environment, where every student feels supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. I am thrilled to collaborate with our dedicated staff, engaged families, and enthusiastic students to create a school community that promotes growth, academic achievement, and lifelong learning.

I look forward to meeting and working with each and every one of you as we embark on this exciting journey together. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas to share. Together, let us make Tappahannock Elementary School a place where every child can thrive and succeed.

Warmest regards,

Nicole Daily

Assistant Principal
